Coed Varsity Indoor Track vs Mid Atlantic Prep League Championships on 2/7/2026
More Falcons who won events:
Boys 1,600-meter run: Elie Meyer (4.34.28)
Boys long jump: Dasyer Bullock (21’10”)
Girls 55-meter hurdles: Tessa Hughes (8.50)
Girls high jump: Tessa Hughes (5’2”)
It was the first time Dasyer Bullock ’26 competed in the long jump in his high school career. His jump qualified for Easterns.
“I’ve been pondering about it my entire senior year, but I didn’t really choose to do it until maybe last week,” Bullock said. “I only had about two-to-three practices with it. I did it out of curiosity, the last time I took part in it was when I was about 11 years old. I was wondering where it could take me, and I did it with the 200-meter dash as well, I never ran that in high school. It’s an exciting thing to tackle today.”
“It was surreal,” Bullock said on his experience in the long jump. “I honestly came into this thinking I would maybe go 19, but when I heard it was 21’10”, I was ecstatic, especially in such a big competition. I didn’t really feel the pressure that I usually would, but I feel like I had the same experience as it would be if I knew I was coming into this as one of the top competitors.”
