The AP Physics C course is a rigorous second-year course for Peddie’s most able and motivated physics students. Its primary purpose is to prepare students for the AP Physics C (Level C) exams. The course is divided into two parts: Mechanics (kinematics, dynamics, work and energy, momentum and collisions, rotational motion, gravitation, oscillations) and Electricity and Magnetism (electrostatics, electrical energy, current and circuits, magnetism, induction, Maxwell€™s Equations), each of which take about half the year. Differential and integral calculus is used throughout the year.
Note: Students taking this course are required to take the AP Physics C exams.
