You’ll find your rhythm in Peddie’s music program.
Classes cover diverse fields of music at various levels of expertise, as well as musical theory and history. In addition to participating in orchestra and choir (yes, you can do both!) during the class day, you will find lots of extra time to make and study music through private voice or instrumental lessons or as part of a main-stage musical as a cast member or pit musician.
You’ll have the opportunity to participate in three distinct choral groups and seven instrumental ensembles covering everything from rock to classical to jazz to exclusively percussive instruments (including trash cans). Our proximity to NYC and Philadelphia means professional musicians often visit campus to provide high-level discussion about their craft, give workshops, and perform.
Your music education and performing opportunities have no boundaries, and you may even find yourself in a professional recording studio or filming a music video with your fellow musicians!
Defying Gravity Music Video
