Terms: 3
Grades: 11, 12, PG
Prerequisite: Completion of a year€long Biology course

Human Anatomy and Physiology is a year€long course that builds upon content from previous science courses. It is designed for students interested in learning more about how the human body works.  Students will explore all the body systems with a focus on how structure relates to function and gain an understanding of the cellular basis of both health and disease as well as how they relate to stress, diet, genetics, and society.  It is a course where students will have the opportunity to engage in a variety of learning activities that incorporate laboratory skills, communication skills, the creativity of expression, and anatomical modeling.

You have your body your whole life, so it is a good idea to learn more about it!
