Spring Elective: Food Writing

Food writing entails a literary approach to food. In this creative writing elective, students will explore different forms of the topic-centered genre, including poetry, fiction, nonfiction, and journalism. Whether it’s Pixar’s Ratatouille or Elizabeth Alexander’s “Butter”, students will consider how elements of culture, history, and memory influence the storytelling of our taste buds.

This course also counts as a Peddie Creative Writing class for the Creative Writing Signature experience.
