Spring Elective: Paying Attention

That’s what reading, writing and experiencing poetry is all about.  With the help of poets and other sages (young and old, dead and alive, famous, infamous, underappreciated and perhaps overrated), we’ll read, write, recite and listen to poems €€others’ and our own.  As Mary Oliver encourages us in her “Instructions for living a life: Pay attention./ Be astonished./ Tell about it.”

This course also counts as a Peddie Creative Writing class for the Creative Writing Signature experience.
