All parents, guardians and families are invited to visit Peddie during Fall Family Weekend. Attend your child’s classes, meet their teachers and advisors, cheer on the Falcons during athletic events and learn from our students about the Signature Experience program.

Weekend Schedule

Friday, October 10

PPA Fall Family Golf Outing

9:30 a.m., Peddie Golf Club
Enjoy a round of golf in scramble format, including a cart, food and beverages with other Peddie parents. Registration opens at 9:30 a.m.; tee time is 10:30 a.m.

Head of School Welcome Dinner Reception

5:30–7 p.m., The Gratitude Garden at Peddie Arts Center
Parents, guardians and family members are welcome to a dinner reception with a variety of food stations. A great opportunity to mix and mingle with the Head of School, school leaders and other current parents. Please stop by the check-in table to pick up your name tag for the weekend. Casual attire.

College Counseling Presentation

7–8 p.m., Ding Music Hall at Peddie Arts Center
Open to parents and family members of all Peddie students. The College Counseling Office will welcome Matthew Hyde, dean of admissions and financial aid at Trinity College for a presentation on current trends in selective college admissions.

STEM Signature Experience Night

8–9 p.m., The Walter and Leonore Annenberg Science Center
All are welcome! Stop by to hear seniors who completed a STEM Signature Experience discuss their summer work and how it impacted their academic journey.

Saturday, October 11

Attendees should park in the Athletic Center parking lot; accessible parking for those with disabilities is available in the Annenberg Hall parking lot.

Registration and Refreshments

7:30–11 a.m., Annenberg Hall lobby
Stop by to pick up your name tag before you head off to class. Enjoy coffee and light breakfast throughout the morning as you travel between classes.

8 a.m., Ayer Memorial Chapel
Join Head of School Jim Hamilton for brief remarks prior to the start of classes.

Academic Overview

8:30–11:15 a.m., Classroom buildings
Follow your child’s schedule for a 15 minute overview of each class. Individual schedules for each student will be available in PowerSchool in advance of Family Weekend.

  • C Block 9:20–9:35 a.m.

Lunch

11:15 a.m.–1:30 p.m., Caspersen Campus Center Dining Hall
Join families, students and employees for a festive lunch prepared by Peddie Food Service.

Advisory Meetings

Advisors will contact you for a mutually convenient time to meet on Friday, October 10 or Saturday, October 11.

Parents of seniors may wish to schedule an appointment with their child’s college counselor.

Long Weekend

Long Weekend for students begins after the last commitment on Saturday, October 11.

Dorms close at 7 p.m. on Saturday, October 11.

Classes resume on Wednesday, October 15 (boarders return by 8 p.m. on Tuesday, October 14).

The Peddie Store in the Caspersen Campus Center will be open on Friday, October 10, from 10 a.m.–5:30 p.m. and on Saturday, October 11, from 8 a.m.–4 p.m. for all your Peddie spirit gifts and gear. Orders can be placed online in advance!
