Academic Resources

Discovering your unique learning style is an essential part of your educational journey. At Peddie, we’re committed to assisting you every step of the way.

Our community values a collaborative approach between students, teachers and advisors, ensuring proactive support to enhance academic effectiveness and success. We understand that academic challenges can arise, and we’re here to provide comprehensive support tailored to individual needs.

Referral Process

Our Academic Support Office located in the Yu Center for Student Support is readily available for assistance if a student encounters academic difficulties. Students, parents, guardians, advisors or teachers can initiate contact with the office. Once a referral is made, an informal, personalized plan is developed to address the student’s needs. This may include alternative teaching strategies, time management strategies or strengthening study habits and skills through regular meetings with our director of academic support.

Educational Evaluation

An educational evaluation may be recommended in cases of suspected learning disabilities or attention issues through qualified and trusted local agencies. We also facilitate extended-time accommodations for testing based on documented needs.
