Sarah Crider-Venanzi
Assistant Director College Counseling Science Teacher Assistant Coach, Boys Junior Varsity Basketball
B.S., RANDOLPH-MACON College Ph.D., Duke University
Before accepting her position at Peddie in 2010, Sarah Venanzi completed her doctoral degree in chemistry at Duke University. Venanzi graduated from Randolph-Macon College in 2005 with a Bachelor of Science in chemistry and a minor in biology. She was a member of the Randolph-Macon women’s basketball team, serving as captain in her junior and senior years. Venanzi is a graduate of Ephrata Senior High School (Pa.), where she was a three-year letter winner in basketball and a captain her senior year. She serves as the director of residential life and teaches chemistry. Venanzi resides on campus in Caspersen Dormitory with her husband, three children and dog, Greta!
Grant Edwards
Assistant Director of College Counseling Head Coach, Boys Varsity Cross Country
B.A., Princeton University M.A., Dartmouth College
Grant Edwards joined Peddie’s English Department in 2017. Edwards brings ten years teaching and coaching experience from St. Paul’s School in New Hampshire. He is proud to serve on the Head’s Advisory Committee, and as the faculty representative to the Board of Trustees. Edwards resides on campus and shares supervisory duty of Kaye North Dormitory. Grant became a part of Peddie’s College Counseling Office in 2020, and works with juniors and seniors during their college searches, while also teaching freshmen in the interdisciplinary Humanities program.Edwards is also varsity head coach for cross country and is an avid runner, running cross country and track in high school, and completing four half marathons. The cross country team won the coveted MAPL title in the fall of 2018 under his coaching. In addition, Grant is an assistant coach for girls varsity basketball.
Lisa McClellan P’19 ’21 ’25 joined Peddie’s Office of College Counseling in 2004, after previous experience in Alumni & Development at Kent Place School. In addition to her counseling duties, she is a member of the Masters Dormitory faculty team, advises the Prize Committee and has coached youth lacrosse in Hightstown since 2009. McClellan lives on campus with her husband, Pete (history).

Anne Weissenberger joined Peddie’s Office of College Counseling in 2017. As office manager, Anne supports the college counselors and the upperclassmen in the college search and application process and coordinates college fairs and other events throughout the school year.
