Access, Opportunity & Scholarship

At Peddie, welcoming students with the highest degree of excitement, curiosity and character is our highest priority. We are grateful to the donors who make this possible by funding more than 50 named endowed funds as well as contributing to the General Endowment for Financial Assistance.

“Being an Armellino Scholar has changed my life infinitely for the better. I am truly grateful for the opportunities I have each day to pursue my dreams. Knowing that I have the support of donors who believe in my potential motivates me to strive for excellence in everything I do.

“My greatest accomplishment at Peddie has been my growth as a musician and leader, particularly as the principal cellist in the All-State Orchestra this year. Besides deepening my technical skills, this role has taught me the importance of collaboration and communication.

“Playing the cello, particularly in classical music, has been a reliable and stable source of joy in my life; the process of working with my teacher and deepening my understanding of music and its meaning. I love the challenge of mastering complex pieces, and the satisfaction that comes from seeing my hard work pay off during rehearsals and performances. For me, music provides a sense of purpose and fulfillment that I will always cherish.

“I’m also currently working towards a 45-minute repertoire for the ABRSM LRSM exam, a college-level assessment and a huge leap in the length of my performances. These challenges have shown me the true meaning and importance of dedication and perseverance.

“In addition to immersing myself in exciting musical opportunities, I’ve taken the opportunity to be involved in Peddie’s financial future as a member of the Peddie School Student Investment Committee (PSSIC), where I and a small group of classmates gain hands-on experience researching and managing real investments. I’m also co-establishing a real estate club to develop entrepreneurship and financial literacy among other students.

“My favorite class this year has been AP Biology. The fast-paced and challenging curriculum has been extremely engaging and pushes me to think critically about complex biological concepts. I’m enjoying the material we cover, from cellular processes to ecological systems, and I appreciate how it connects to the real world.

“For me and other students alike, it’s inspiring to know that someone believes in our potential and wants to invest in our futures. Donors not only help individuals, but they also help build an even better community of learners who will continue to make a positive impact on others. They can truly change lives.”

Thanks to you!
