Frank W. Bohren II, Class of 1966
Walt Bohren II was a leader on and off the playing fields of Peddie.

As captain of Peddie’s 1966 varsity wrestling team, Walt led one of the most talented groups of wrestlers who ever competed for Robert Tift, Peddie’s legendary coach. After an individual state championship season in wrestling, Walt went on to win the National Interscholastic Wrestling Championship at 168 lbs.

In addition, he was an exceptional football player and “a diamond in the rough” on the lacrosse field.

His leadership extended beyond the athletics fields to all areas of school life. Walt was president of his sophomore, junior and senior classes, elected to The Gold Key Society and served in many other leadership, social and service groups.

Walt achieved the highest standards of excellence as an athlete and leader for The Peddie School.
