Honors Chemistry

This rigorous and fast-paced introduction to chemistry is intended for highly-motivated students who possess strong mathematical abilities. This course investigates the fundamentals of inorganic and physical chemistry and lays a foundation in atomic structure and bonding, stoichiometry, and chemical reactions. While the topics examined in this course are similar to those studied in Peddie€™s other introductory chemistry courses, the material is covered in greater depth and with more mathematical rigor. Students€™ problem-solving and lab skills are developed with extensive investigation into qualitative and quantitative analysis experiments.
