The Peddie varsity football team (0-5) fell to The Lawrenceville School, 50-6, on the road. Freddy Melton completed 6 of 10 passes for 59 yards, including a touchdown pass to Joey Gaston. Defensively, Augie Cassidy made 18 total tackles (10 solo, four for a loss). Griffin Brennan, Kadin Huling and Jonathan Stizza each made six total tackles. The Falcons next host The Hill School on Saturday, Oct. 11 at 2 p.m. at Maurice P. Shuman Football Field.

The Peddie varsity football team (0-4) fell to Germantown Academy, 19-14, on the road.

Quarterback Joey Gaston went 23 of 44 passing for 205 yards and a passing touchdown. He also had nine carries for 32 yards. Jeremiah Davis ran for 32 yards on 10 carries with a touchdown. He also had four receptions for 23 yards. Cooper Allen had nine receptions for 93 yards and three total tackles (one for a loss). Lorenzo Barone had six receptions for 74 yards and three total tackles. Augie Cassidy led the Falcons with 12 total tackles (four solo, three for a loss, including one sack). Kadin Huling and Reed Oliver each had nine total tackles.

The Falcons next travel to The Lawrenceville School on Saturday, Oct. 4 at 7 p.m.

The Peddie varsity football team (0-3) fell to The Kiski School, 27-14, at home.

Jeremiah Davis scored two touchdowns, an 8-yard receiving touchdown with 1:05 left in the third quarter and a 4-yard rushing touchdown with 6:31 remaining in the fourth quarter. Davis had 11 receptions for 67 yards and five carries for 52 yards. Quarterback Joey Gaston went 9 of 13 passing for 93 yards and a touchdown pass. He also had eight carries for 79 yards and two receptions for 85 yards.

Caleb Feinberg was 2 for 2 on PATs. Cooper Allen recovered a fumble in the fourth quarter which helped lead to a touchdown. Augie Cassidy recovered an onside kick after the second Jeremiah Davis touchdown. Cassidy made 15 total tackles (six solo, three for a loss) and had an interception. Allen had 12 total tackles (four solo, four for a loss). Griffin Brennan made eight total tackles (three solo).

The Falcons next travel to Germantown Academy on Saturday, Sept. 27 at 1 p.m.

The Peddie varsity football team (0-2) fell to Wyoming Seminary, 29-13, in a home opener.

Jeremiah Davis scored two touchdowns for the Falcons, a 73-yard rushing touchdown with 10:33 left in the second quarter and a 53-yard fumble recovery for a touchdown with 7:09 remaining in the fourth quarter. Cooper Allen forced the fumble. Xzaiver Torres had two catches for 47 yards and defensively made eight total tackles (four solo, two for a loss). Augie Cassidy made 13 total tackles (four solo, five for a loss). Reed Oliver made nine total tackles (six solo, one sack). Bryce Layade had seven total tackles (five solo).

The Peddie varsity football team (0-1) fell to Immaculata High School, 45-33, in a season opener on the road at Torpey Athletic Complex.

Joey Gaston completed 12 of 18 passes for 175 yards and two touchdowns. He ran for 105 yards on the ground on 10 carries and scored a touchdown. He also had three receptions for 46 yards. Freddy Melton went 7-for-14 passing for 98 yards and a touchdown. Jeremiah Davis ran for 165 yards on 19 carries and a touchdown, with an additional 19 kickoff return yards on one attempt. He also had 80 receiving yards on seven catches and a touchdown. Cooper Allen and Jonathan Stizza each caught a 17-yard receiving touchdown.

Defensively, Augie Cassidy led the team with 15 total tackles (11 assisted, four solo). Cooper Allen made 10 total tackles (seven assisted, three solo and one for a loss). Reed Oliver made nine total tackles (seven assisted, two solo and two for a loss).

The Falcons next host Wyoming Seminary on Saturday, Sept. 13 at 1 p.m. in a home opener at Maurice P. Shuman Football Field.

The Peddie varsity football team (2-7) fell to Blair Academy, 42-7, at home for Peddie-Blair Day in the last game of the season. Eric Cho ran in a 1-yard touchdown with 6:50 remaining in the second quarter. Cho also had four catches for 30 yards. On defense, he had 10 total tackles (two for a loss). Yasin Elhossieni converted the PAT. Elhosienni also had three receptions for 58 yards. On defense, he tallied 10 total tackles (two for a loss).

The Peddie varsity football team (2-6) fell to The Hun School of Princeton, 56-6, on the road. NaCari McFarland went 16-for-30 passing for 135 yards passing and a touchdown pass to Joey Gaston. Gaston had five receptions and 75 receiving yards. Griffin Brennan had four catches for 45 yards. Yasin Elhossieni tallied a team-high 10 total tackles (eight solo) and recovered a fumble. The Falcons next conclude the season and host Blair Academy on Peddie-Blair Day on Saturday, Nov. 9 at 2 p.m. at Maurice P. Shuman Football Field.

Miller finished the game with 10 receptions for 64 yards, and six total tackles on defense (three solo). Griffin Brennan scored a 17-yard rushing touchdown with 2:36 left in the fourth quarter. Kyian Mims had an interception on defense with 1:22 left in the first quarter. NaCari McFarland went 12 of 24 passing for 123 yards. Eric Cho had seven carries for 35 yards, a team-high nine total tackles on defense, two forced fumbles and one recovery. The Falcons next travel to The Pennington School on Saturday, Oct. 26 at 1 p.m.

The Peddie varsity football team (2-3) defeated The Hill School, 45-42, on the road. It was the first MAPL victory for the Falcons since 2021. NaCari McFarland completed 19 of 25 passes for 379 yards and four touchdowns. On the ground, McFarland also ran for 47 yards. Yasin Elhossieni caught three passes for 122 yards and two touchdowns. He also had a fumble recovery on defense. Ari Miller had eight receptions for 160 yards. Eric Cho tallied 73 rushing yards on 12 carries and two touchdowns. He also caught two passes for 39 yards and a touchdown. On defense he made a team-high 10 total tackles (six solo). Joey Gaston caught three passes for 45 yards and a touchdown. He also forced a fumble on defense and recovered it. The Falcons next host Lawrenceville School on Friday, Oct. 11 at 4 p.m. at Maurice P. Shuman Football Field.

Jayden Williams intercepted a pass and ran it back 33 yards for a touchdown with 17 seconds remaining in the first quarter. Eric Cho had an interception, as well as 12 total tackles.
