Head Coach, George Nazario: Varsity Boys Soccer

George Nazario begins his first year as the new head coach of Peddie varsity boys soccer.
Hailing from New Jersey, Nazario amassed 268 wins as a coach over 28 seasons as The College of New Jersey men’s soccer coach. In addition to leading the Lions to nine NCAA Division III Tournament appearances, the team won a Division III National Championship in 1996. Nazario is a Hall of Fame member at Seton Hall and The College of New Jersey.
Nazario earned All-American honors at Union High School and won a national championship playing with the Union Lancers U19 Team in 1987. He went on to Seton Hall and led the Pirates to three Big East Conference championships and four NCAA Division I Championship tournament appearances. He was twice named Big East Player of the Year (1987, 1990), and he served as a team captain during his senior campaign. Upon graduating from Seton Hall, Nazario became a member of the Puerto Rican National Soccer Team from 1992 to 1998.
