2026-27 Break Schedule and Travel Information

As we look ahead to the 2026-27 school year, we want to give you an early picture of our break schedule and travel plans so you can start thinking about arrangements.

Fall Long Weekend

Saturday, October 3: Dorms close after each student’s last commitment by 7 PM
We provide shuttles to Princeton Junction Train Station and Newark Airport on Peddie buses or school owned vehicles driven by staff CDL drivers. For this break we will provide shuttles on: Saturday, 10/3 at 2 PM. Sign ups will begin the week prior.
New this year, an off campus trip option will be available for boarders who find travel home difficult over the break, more information to come
Tuesday, October 6: Dorms reopen. All 9th, 10th, and 11th grade boarders must return by 8 PM for a required community check-in in the Chapel (day students welcome). Senior and PG boarders should communicate their return date on Reach and can return on either October 6 or October 7.

Thanksgiving Break

Thursday, November 19: Last day of classes.
Friday, November 20: Dorms close by noon.

Monday, November 30: Dorms reopen. All boarders must return by 8 PM for a required community check-in in the Chapel (day students welcome).
Tuesday, December 1: Classes resume.

Winter Break

Friday, December 18 (modified schedule day): Classes end at 12:20 PM, followed by Caroling by the Bell.
Saturday, December 19: Dorms close by noon
We provide shuttles to Princeton Junction Train Station and Newark Airport on Peddie buses or school owned vehicles driven by staff CDL drivers. For this break we will provide shuttles on: Friday, 12/18 at 1 PM and Saturday, 12/19 at 8 AM. Sign ups will begin the week prior.
Sunday, January 3: Dorms reopen. All boarders must return by 8 PM for a required community check-in in the Chapel (day students welcome).
Monday, January 4: Classes resume.

Saturday, January 30: Dorms close after each student’s last commitment by 5 PM (morning class schedule to be confirmed).
New this year, an off campus trip option will be available for boarders who find travel home difficult over the break, more information to come
Tuesday, February 2: Dorms reopen. All boarders must return by 8 PM for a required community check-in in the Chapel (day students welcome).
Wednesday, February 3: Classes resume.

Spring Break

Monday, March 1 through Friday, March 5: Exams. Student departure time may vary.
Saturday, March 6: Dorms close.
We provide shuttles to Princeton Junction Train Station and Newark Airport on Peddie buses or school owned vehicles driven by staff CDL drivers. For this break we will provide shuttles on: Friday, 3/5 in the afternoon and Saturday, 3/6 in the morning. Sign ups will begin the week prior.
Sunday, March 21: Dorms reopen. All boarders must return by 8 PM for a required community check-in in the Chapel (day students welcome)
Monday, March 22: Classes resume.

End of Year

May 30: Graduation
June 4: Last Day
