Max Greyserman ’13: A Rising Star on the PGA Tour
Former Peddie golfer shines with stunning near-victories in his rookie season
Max Greyserman ’13 has made a remarkable entrance onto the PGA Tour as a rookie. After earning his 2024 PGA Tour card with a top-10 finish on the Korn Ferry Tour, Greyserman swiftly distinguished himself as a rising star in professional golf.
This summer, Greyserman demonstrated his resilience and skill with two remarkable runner-up finishes, narrowly missing out on victories at the 3M Open and the Wyndham Championship. At the 3M Open, he finished just one stroke behind the winner. His performance at the Wyndham Championship was equally impressive, as he held a four-shot lead with five holes to play, only to be overtaken after a few challenging moments. Greyserman’s performance earned him a spot in the FedExCup Playoffs and solidified his place on the PGA Tour for the 2025 season.
Reflecting on his time at Peddie, Greyserman expressed his deep gratitude, previously telling the Chronicle that he credited the school with teaching him valuable life skills that have helped him in his professional career. “This school taught me how to grow up, do things on my own, and manage my time efficiently,” he said. Greyserman shares the school record for the lowest MAPL par score, a 66, with his former roommate and teammate, Kyle Sterbinsky ’15.
