Inspired by personal memories and dreams, fairy tales and current events, students will construct two- and three-dimensional artworks, experimenting with a wide range of materials, both traditional (watercolors, color pencils, wire, clay) and untraditional (€˜found objects€™ and recyclables, for example).  Among the projects we may undertake are an imaginative mask, an artist€™s book, a colorful mobile, an autobiographical installation€¦ This class is a great next step for a student who has taken Drawing or Painting, but no previous experience is required, just a willingness to be playful, thoughtful and resourceful as together we push the conventional boundaries of art.
