The Peddie varsity boys lacrosse team (1-0) defeated Princeton High School, 11-6, on the road in a season opener. Aaron Uppal tallied five goals and one assist. Augie Cassidy added two goals and two assists. Devin Dzwolak and John Giblin each added two goals and one assist. Christian Tharney had three assists and four ground balls. Hayden Nieves tallied eight ground balls. Goalkeeper Rocco Annunziata made 20 saves. The Falcons next host South Brunswick High School in a home opener on Monday, March 30 at 4:30 p.m. at the Outdoor Turf Field.

The Peddie varsity boys lacrosse team (3-1) defeated Allentown High School, 11-6, at home. John Giblin scored the go-ahead goal late in the third quarter to give Peddie a 7-6 lead. Devin Dzwolak made it 8-6 with 1:30 left in the third quarter. The Falcons scored three goals in the fourth quarter. Jake Fletcher picked up a key ground ball with just over two minutes left in the fourth quarter. Dzwolak finished the game with five goals and two assists. John Giblin had three goals and three assists. Christian Tharney and Aaron Uppal each recorded a goal and an assist. Jack Mahoney tallied a goal. Goalkeeper Rocco Annunziata played the first half and made seven saves. Goalkeeper Aayan Uppal played the second half and made eight saves, including a stop with just over three minutes remaining in the fourth quarter. The Falcons next travel to The Pennington School on Friday, April 10 at 4:30 p.m.

The Falcons next host Mercersburg Academy, on Senior Day, on Saturday, May 9 at 1 p.m. at the Outdoor Turf Field.

The Peddie varsity boys lacrosse team (7-5) defeated Mercersburg Academy, 15-2, at home, in the final home game of the season. Student-manager Olivia Campell, Finn Carton, John Giblin, Oliver Goodman, Jack Mahoney, Gino Murillo, Ashwin Narayan, Hayden Nieves and student-manager Amanda Strapp were recognized for Senior Day. Aaron Uppal scored a team-high six goals. John Giblin added four goals, three assists and six ground balls. Finn Carton tallied two goals. Christian Tharney had a goal, three assists and three ground balls. Augie Cassidy and Hayden Nieves each recorded a goal. Jack Mahoney had an assist. Goalkeeper Rocco Annunziata made four saves and Aayan Uppal had five. The Falcons next travel to The Lawrenceville School to face The Lawrenceville School B team, in the 2025-2026 NJISAA Prep A quarterfinal on Monday, May 11 at 4 p.m.

The Peddie varsity boys lacrosse team (8-5) defeated The Lawrenceville School B-Team, 14-8, on the road in the NJISAA Prep A & B Quarterfinal at The Lawrenceville School. It was the first time in 25 years the Falcons have defeated Lawrenceville.

Aaron Uppal scored a team-high seven goals. John Giblin added three goals and four assists. Devin Dzwolak contributed three goals and two assists. Christian Tharney had one goal, two assists and four ground balls. Augie Cassidy recorded three assists and nine ground balls. Jack Mahoney tallied two assists. Hayden Nieves had six ground balls. Goalkeeper Rocco Annunziata made 12 saves.

“I’m incredibly proud of the team performance we put forward today,” John Giblin ’26 said. “It was a tough battle, but we were able to put the win together. This win means so much to our program, and we are honored to represent Peddie.”

The Falcons next play in the NJISAA Prep A & B Semifinal on Thursday, May 14 on the road at Blair Academy, at a time to be announced.

“After we lost to Lawrenceville in early April, a game that was close in the fourth quarter but got away from us, we hoped — genuinely hoped — to get another crack at them,” Head Coach Rich D’Andrea said. “It’s rare to receive a second-chance opportunity and the coaches are proud of the boys for meeting that opportunity head on. Now, we’re focused on Blair.”

Aaron Uppal had one assist. The Falcons next travel to West Windsor-Plainsboro South High School, for the final game of the season, on Friday, May 15 at 4 p.m.

John Giblin tallied five goals, seven assists and one ground ball. Christian Tharney added three goals and three assists. Aaron Uppal recorded three goals. Finn Carton and Jack Mahoney each notched two goals. Augie Casisdy notched a goal, three assists and five ground balls. Jake Fletcher, Pote Sophonsiri and Massimo Sheinin each added a goal. Fletcher also tallied nine ground balls. Ashwin Narayan had an assist. Hayden Nieves had six ground balls. Goalkeeper Rocco Annunziata made four saves and Aayan Uppal had three.
