The Peddie varsity football team (1-0) defeated St. Luke’s School, 39-8, in a season opener on the road, as Mark Fabish earned his first win as head coach of the Falcons in his debut. NaCari McFarland completed 13 of 19 passes for 259 yards and four touchdowns. Ari Miller caught five passes for 123 yards and three touchdowns. Lorenzo Barone had a 42-yard touchdown reception. Yasin Elhossieni tallied three catches for 58 yards. On defense he scored two touchdowns, tied a team-high with seven total tackles (four solo), forced a fumble, recovered a fumble and had an interception. Eric Cho also added seven total tackles (four solo). and an interception. Russell Cunningham and Jayden Williams each contributed seven total tackles. The Falcons next host William Penn Charter School in a home opener on Saturday, Sept. 14 at 1 p.m. at Maurice P. Shuman Football Field.

The Peddie varsity football team (1-1) fell to William Penn Charter School, 35-0, in a home opener. NaCari McFarland completed 15 of 24 passes. Yasin Elhossieni had six receptions for 72 yards and seven total tackles (five solo) and a sack. Joey Gaston had four receptions for 59 yards and three total tackles on defense. Eric Cho tallied a team-high nine total tackles (six solo) and one for a loss. The Falcons next travel to The Kiski School on Saturday, Sept. 21 at 2 p.m.

The Peddie varsity football team (1-2) fell to The Kiski School, 27-8, on the road. Griffin Brennan completed 4 of 5 passes and threw a touchdown pass to Ari Miller. Miller had 75 reeciving yards on six catches. On defense he made six tackles (five solo). NaCari McFarland completed 14 of 27 passes for 115 yards. Lorenzo Barone made three catches for 57 yards. Eric Cho and Jayden Williams each made a team-high nine solo tackles. The Falcons next host Germantown Academy on Saturday, Sept. 28 at 2 p.m. at Maurice P. Shuman Football Field.
