E. Mount Norris, Class of 1924

E. Mount Norris was another fine product of the John Plant’s basketball program. As the captain of the 1924 team, he led them to another state championship in what could be a six-year string and an 18-3 record. Mount teamed with Hall Famer “Whitey” Lloyd for one of the best basketball combinations the school has ever known. Mount played both pitcher and first base on the baseball team and captained the team for one year.
