Head Coach, Mark Fabish: Varsity Football

With 25 years of experience coaching football, including a stint as interim head coach at Columbia University, Mark Fabish brings a formidable pedigree to Peddie.
“Mark brings tremendous football experience to Peddie,” said Athletic Director Rich D’Andrea ’01 in a statement to Peddie Football families. “While his accomplishments in the football arena are impressive, his character is equally impressive. We’re eager for him to get started.”
A Ho-Ho-Kus, N.J. native, Fabish’s football journey began at Bergen Catholic High School, where he helped the school win consecutive state championships before rising to prominence as an All-Ivy receiver at the University of Pennsylvania. He led the Quakers to two Ivy League championships as a player and an NCAA-record 24-game win streak from 1993-95. And in his five years there as a coach, he guided the Quakers to three Ivy championships.
He has also coached at the University of Rhode Island, Monmouth University and Columbia University. At Columbia, he was credited with leading a highly-successful and efficient offensive unit, one of the best in program history.
Fabish served as an offensive coordinator at Columbia from 2016-22, during which time Columbia amassed 27 victories, its highest win total in such a span since the institution joined the Ivy League in 1956.
As offensive coordinator at Monmouth University, he coached former NFL wide receiver Miles Austin.
Fabish’s arrival at Peddie holds the promise of ushering in a new era marked by excellence and success.
He lives on campus with his wife and two sons.
