The Bell Society

Peddie’s future financial stability is ensured through the forethought and generosity of more than 300 Bell Society members, living and deceased. We are eternally grateful to our Bell Society members.

Bell Society members S. Brodrick Peters ’72 & Kim Peters have designed a lasting legacy rooted in their shared values. Their unwavering dedication and generous philanthropic contributions exemplify their commitment to Peddie.

By establishing a planned gift as a named endowed scholarship fund, the Peters have expressed their belief that it is critical to afford students the same Peddie experience that Brodrick enjoyed as a student from 1969 to 1972. “It was through the generosity of those who preceded me at Peddie that I was given the extraordinary opportunity to experience Peddie through the arts, athletics and academics. We believe it is now our turn to do the same for others,” said Peters.

In addition, by supporting The Peddie Fund, the Peters contribute to all facets of the Peddie community, including support for faculty, administrators and the physical campus. “Peddie cannot be allowed to be a stagnant institution, but it should always strive to foster creativity, curiosity and endurance. In some small way, we hope to encourage these pursuits through our financial support,” he said.

Referencing the Peddie motto: “We finish our labors to begin them anew,” the Peters feel that while the labors of many have been finished, it is their turn to begin them anew by contributing to the future vision of all that the Peddie experience can be. “Participation in the Bell Society can assist in continuing the strong financial foundation created by those who have gone before us. Such an endeavor helps establish a lasting legacy of which we are proud to be a part.”

“As a proud alumnus of Peddie, I can certainly attest to the joy of receiving my letter of acceptance many years ago. Peddie provided a transformational experience for me which was made affordable by donors like you.” — Peter Park ’07

Did you know? The Bell Society was founded in 1990 to honor generous alumni, parents and friends whose estate plans benefit The Peddie School. Becoming a member is a meaningful way to ensure that future generations of students receive the same unparalleled education Peddie has always provided.
