Our curriculum is not just about foundational work in the major disciplines (chemistry and biology). It’s a journey that takes off into exciting areas such as robotics and engineering, astronomy and geology, and animal evolution. We offer honors level courses in chemistry, biology, physics and anatomy, and advanced placement courses in biology, chemistry, environmental science, physics and psychology. Our Signature Experience in Research Science (STEM-EXP) allows you to dive deeply into a particular area of science and discover what it really means to become an expert in a field of study.

We believe in learning by doing. The laboratory experience is not just a part of our courses; it’s a vital and integrated component. Here, you’ll learn to interpret data, construct hypotheses, use traditional and computer-based equipment and write clear and persuasive lab reports. These practical skills are not just for the classroom but for life.
