Boys Baseball

The Peddie varsity boys baseball team (2-7) fell to Trenton High School, 6-5, at home. Jonathan Stizza and Jaden Heble each walked to begin the bottom of the seventh inning. Evan Treese drove in Stizza with an RBI single to cut the score to 6-4. Owen Piepszak was hit by a pitch with the bases loaded to bring home another run for a 6-5 score. The Falcons next host The Hill School on Saturday, April 26 at 1:30 p.m. at William M. Thompson ’35 Baseball Field.

The Peddie varsity boys baseball team (2-6) defeated The Pennington School, 3-1, on the road. Evan Treese pitched a complete game, allowing one run (one earned), on four hits, striking out six and walking three, for his first career Peddie win. Mason Kish had the go-ahead two-run single in the top of the sixth inning. Eduard Fernandez went 2-for-3. Jonathan Stizza went 1-for-3 with a double and a run scored. Jaden Heble made a great defensive play in right field during the bottom of the seventh inning to preserve the lead. The Falcons next host Trenton High School on Wednesday, April 23 at 4:30 p.m. at William M. Thompson ’35 Baseball Field.

The Peddie varsity boys baseball team (1-6) fell to The Hill School, 3-2, on the road. The Hill School scored three runs in the home half of the sixth inning to take a 3-2 lead. Eduard Fernandez went 2-for-4 with a run scored. Evan Treese went 1-for-3 with two RBI. Brody Buchner started the game on the mound and pitched five scoreless innings and struck out eight. The Falcons next travel to The Pennington School on Tuesday, April 22 at 4:15 p.m.

The Peddie varsity boys baseball team (1-4) fell to Blair Academy, 6-4, on the road. Eduard Fernandez went 2-for-4 with two RBI and a run scored. Brody Buchner went 2-for-4 with an RBI, a double and run scored. The Falcons next travel to Hightstown High School on Tuesday, April 15 at 4 p.m.

Jonathan Stizza and Eduard Fernandez each scored a run. The Falcons next host The Hun School of Princeton on Saturday, April 5 at 12 p.m. at William M. Thompson ’35 Baseball Field.
