Peddie indoor track and field hosted the Peddie Invitational at Erik B. Hanson ’83 Field House Indoor Track to open the season.

The Falcons next compete in the Bishop Loughlin Games on Saturday, Dec. 20 (boys events) and Sunday, Dec. 21 (girls events) at Ocean Breeze Athletic Complex.

The Peddie varsity boys indoor track and field competed at the Bishop Loughlin Games (Boys Events), at Ocean Breeze Athletic Complex. Aldrin Bonilla finished third and medaled in the Freshman 600 with 1:33.21. In the long jump, Kadin Huling jumped 18-11 and in the triple jump Yoel Ajari jumped 38-10.50. The Falcons next compete in the Tsai Relays on Saturday, Jan. 10 at 10 a.m. at The Lawrenceville School.

The Peddie varsity girls indoor track and field competed at the Bishop Loughlin Games (Boys Events), at Ocean Breeze Athletic Complex on Sunday. All three girls qualified for Easterns in the 55-meter dash: Foluke Oladeji made the finals and placed seventh in the Varsity section in 7.39, Mya Griffith recorded a 8.05 and Safiyyah Malik had a 7.69. In the 300-meter dash, Foluke Oladeji ran a 44.27, Lilyiana Gordon had a 44.67 and Maddie Hughes ran a 44.90. The Falcons next compete in the Tsai Relays on Saturday, Jan. 10 at 10 a.m. at The Lawrenceville School.

The Peddie varsity indoor track and field team competed in the Tsai Relays at The Lawrenceville School. The girls 4×200-meter relay A-team consisting of Tessa Hughes, Safiyyah Mailk, Maddie Hughes and Foluke Oladeji placed fourth (1:49.27). This broke a Peddie record, according to head coach Tim Brennan. The previous record was 1:52.9 in 2008 held by Christine Lee, Gabrielle Moise, Danielle Dioguardi and Sandra Peprah.

The boys 4×800-meter relay A-team consisting of Luca Romanelli, Theo Salapatas, Dasyer Bullock and Elie Meyer placed first (8:37.50).

The boys 4×200-meter relay A-team (Yoel Ajari, Matthew Sisco, Luke Chon and Kaden Huling placed fourth (1:35.80).

The boys 1,600-meter sprint medley A-team (Aldrin Bonilla, Kadin Huling, Blake Romanelli and Joey Gaston) were seventh (3:58.10).

The girls 1,600-meter sprint medley relay A-team (Victoria Vahi, Riley Toomey, Lily Gordon, Mya Griffith) were sixth (4:32.64).

The Falcons next host and compete in the Colonial Valley Conference meet on Monday, Jan. 19 at 9 a.m. at Erik B. Hanson ’83 Field House.

Eight Falcons competed in the Colonial Valley Conference Meet, hosted by Peddie at Erik B. Hanson ’83 Field House: Nathan Adler (boys shot put), Molly Cabot (girls shot put), Michael Chan (boys 800-meter run), Sam Lallier (boys 800-meter run), Aaron Linke (boys 800-meter run), Aarnav Shankar (boys 400-meter dash), Erin Tam (girls 400-meter dash) and Riley Toomey (girls 400-meter dash).

Erin Tam placed third in the girls 400-meter dash (1:06.696) and Riley Toomey was sixth (1:09.53).

The Falcons next host and compete in the Peddie Invitational on Tuesday, Jan. 27 at 6 p.m. at Erik B. Hanson ’83 Field House.

The Falcons next compete at the Ocean Breeze Invitational from Saturday, Jan. 31 (boys) to Sunday, Feb. 1 (girls) at Ocean Breeze Sports Complex.

Yoel Ajari, Aldrin Bonilla, Luke Chon, Joey Gaston and Luca Romanelli of Peddie boys indoor track and field team competed in the 11th Annual Ocean Breeze Invitational at Ocean Breeze Sports Complex.

Aldrin Bonilla placed sixth in the Freshman Division boys 400-meter dash and sixth in the 800-meter run.

Luke Chon placed sixth in the boys 400-meter dash.

Joey Gaston placed 20th in the boys 55-meter dash.

The girls indoor track and field team next competes in the Ocean Breeze Invitational at Ocean Breeze Sports Complex on Sunday, Feb. 1.

On Feb. 1, 2026, Tessa Hughes ’26 of varsity girls indoor track and field won the pentathlon and broke a school record during the long jump (17-2) in the pentathlon during the 11th Annual Ocean Breeze Invitational at Ocean Breeze Sports Complex.

Seven Peddie team members placed in the top 20 in their divisions.

Madeline Hughes placed third in the sophomore girls 55-meter hurdles.

Erin Tam placed fifth in the girls long jump and seventh in the girls triple jump.

Lilyana Gordon placed 15th in the girls 400-meter dash. Charis Chien placed eighth in the girls 800-meter run.

The Falcons next compete in the 2025-2026 MAPL Championships on Saturday, Feb. 7 at 12 p.m. at The Lawrenceville School.

Peddie indoor track and field competed in the 2025-2026 MAPL Championships at The Lawrenceville School. Both the boys team and girls teams placed third out of seven teams. The boys scored 59 points and the girls scored 99 points. The boys 4×400-meter relay team consisting of Luca Romanelli, Luke Chon, Dasyer Bullock and Elie Meyer won the event and broke a school record with a 3:28.01, according to head coach Tim Brennan.

It was the first time Dasyer Bullock ’26 competed in the long jump in his high school career. His jump qualified for Easterns.

“I’ve been pondering about it my entire senior year, but I didn’t really choose to do it until maybe last week,” Bullock said. “I only had about two-to-three practices with it. I did it out of curiosity, the last time I took part in it was when I was about 11 years old. I was wondering where it could take me, and I did it with the 200-meter dash as well, I never ran that in high school. It’s an exciting thing to tackle today.”

“It was surreal,” Bullock said on his experience in the long jump. “I honestly came into this thinking I would maybe go 19, but when I heard it was 21’10”, I was ecstatic, especially in such a big competition. I didn’t really feel the pressure that I usually would, but I feel like I had the same experience as it would be if I knew I was coming into this as one of the top competitors.”

The Falcons next compete in the 2025-2026 NJISAA Championship – Throwing and Jumping Events on Tuesday, Feb. 10 at 4 p.m. at The Lawrenceville School. The following day, Feb. 11 at 4 p.m., is the 2025-2026 NJISAA Championship at The Lawrenceville School.

Peddie indoor track and field competed in the 2025-2026 NJISAA Prep A & B Championships – Throwing and Jumping Events at The Lawrenceville School. Tessa Hughes won the ‘A’ division girls high jump (5’2”). Madeline Hughes placed sixth (4’8”).

Girls Shot Put ‘A’ Division:

Tessa Hughes placed fifth (24’7.5”). Molly Cabot placed 10th (18’5”).

Boys Shot Put ‘A’ Division:

Christian Velardi placed 14th (34’2.5”). Nathan Adler placed 19th (27’2.5”).

The Falcons next compete in the 2025-2026 NJISAA Prep A & B Championships on Wednesday, Feb. 11 at 4 p.m. at The Lawrenceville School.

Peddie indoor track and field competed in the 2025-2026 NJISAA Prep A & B Championships at The Lawrenceville School. The girls team placed third in the ‘A’ division. The boys team placed fourth in the ‘A’ division. Tessa Hughes ’26 won the ‘A’ championship in the girls 55-meter hurdles (8.51) and girls high jump (5’2”), which took place on Feb. 10. Hughes also set the school record in the girls 200-meter dash with a 25.78. The previous record was held by Deja Cunningham (25.79) in 2015. Foluke Oladeji ’28 won the ‘A’ championships in the girls 55-meter dash (7.38). Elie Meyer ’26 won the ‘A’ championship in the boys 800-meter run (1:58.64). Luca Romanelli ’26 placed second (2:00.19).

“I’m really happy,” Meyer said. “I started quite fast and tried to keep at the same pace for the whole race for the 800 and I did it, so I’m really happy.”

“It’s a true testament to all of the hard work she’s put in and all of the progress she’s made over time since her freshman year,” assistant coach Deyvon Brooks said. “She’s now been able to see her goals come to fruition. I’m extremely proud of her.”

“I’m also extremely proud of Elie [Meyer],” Brooks said. “Elie was kind of disappointed in his race last week, but he showed up this week and ran a great performance and put on a show for everyone.”

Tessa Hughes placed second in the girls 200-meter dash (25.78). Foluke Oladeji was third (26.58). Dasyer Bullock ’26 placed third in the boys 55-meter hurdles (7.86) and fourth in the boys 200-meter dash (22.94). Luke Chon ’26 placed fourth in the boys 400-meter dash (51.84).

The Falcons next compete in The Circuit – Philly, on Saturday, Feb. 28 at 9 a.m. at The Ott Center – The University of Pennsylvania.

Aldrin Bonilla, Dasyer Bullock, Charis Chien, Luke Chon, Lilyana Gordon, Tessa Hughes, Safiyyah Malik, Luca Romanelli and Erin Tam of Peddie varsity indoor track and field competed at The CIRCUIT – Philly, at The Ott Center – The University of Pennsylvania.

Tessa Hughes placed sixth in the girls 60-meter hurdles (9.10). Hughes also placed 13th in the girls 400-meter dash (59.17).

Lilayana Gordon placed 10th in the girls 400-meter dash (1:03.15). Charis Chien placed 15th in the girls 400-meter dash (1:04.83).

Erin Tam placed 11th in the girls triple jump (9.42 meters).

Luca Romanelli placed ninth in the boys 800-meter run (1:59.40).

Aldrin Bonilla placed 13th in the boys 400-meter dash (53.99)

Tessa Hughes ’26 placed fourth in the girls 55-meter hurdles with a time of 8.26, an All-East and Peddie record.
