Peddie Welcomes New Faculty

Meet the latest additions to the Peddie faculty family stepping onto campus for the 2026-27 school year.
Cole Chaudhari (English)
Chaudhari joins Peddie as a recent graduate from Middlebury College in Vermont, where he studied history and literature. At Middlebury, he served in a variety of roles for The Middlebury Campus, the college’s student-run newspaper. In addition to spending his summers conducting research on lullabies, Chaudhari taught writing at the St. Paul’s School Advanced Studies Program.
Claudette Guy (Computer Science/Math)
Guy comes to Peddie from the Hun School, where she taught AP Computer Science Principles. She brings to her role a wealth of teaching experience and passion for computer science. In addition to teaching JAVA, Python and Computer Science Principles at Princeton High School, Guy previously served on the district-wide Computer Science Review Committee. She earned her M.Ed. from The College of Saint Scholastica and her B.S. from William & Mary.
Donnie Morton (History)
Morton joins Peddie’s history department after his recent graduation from Williams College in Massachusetts with a double major in economics and history. He comes from a family of educators and attended Wilmington Friends School in Delaware. A four-year member of Williams varsity wrestling team, Morton captained the team and served on the Williams College Student Athlete Advocacy Committee.
Belén Santos (Spanish)
Santos comes to Peddie from The School at Columbia University. She cites her own boarding education at a specialized arts school as both a challenge and formative experience which she channels as a teacher. Passionate about discovering and learning from different cultures and perspectives, Santos is incredibly excited to join Peddie’s DEI team and contribute to its inclusive community. She holds two Master’s degrees from Columbia University: a M.A. in bilingual bicultural education and a M.Ed. in private school leadership.
Danielle Spinelli (English)
Spinelli joins Peddie from Red Bank Regional High School, where she emphasized the integration of social-emotional learning (SEL) into classroom instruction. With an academic background in English and philosophy, she shares a passion for the transformative power of literature and its ability to broaden perspectives, foster empathy and encourage meaningful connections across diverse experiences. An experienced youth basketball and soccer coach, Spinelli will serve as assistant coach for girls junior varsity field hockey and basketball at Peddie.
Charlotte Staudenmayer (English)
A recent graduate of Williams College with a B.A. in English, Staudenmayer brings a love for community to Peddie’s English department. She taught in St. Paul’s Advanced Studies Program for two years, leading a writing workshop class and then a Forbidden Fiction course. Staudenmayer was a standout cross-country and track runner and captain of the cross-country team. Upon her graduation, she also received the Hubbard Hutchinson Class of 1917 Memorial Fellowship to support the continuation of her fiction and poetry written works.
