This course focuses on public speaking and introducing students to formalized debate, with an emphasis on effective research and using varying persuasion techniques. Examples of great public speakers throughout history are studied, and vocal projection and body language are emphasized. Students leave the course with a greater confidence in their ability to think critically and speak persuasively.
